Daniela Chionna has been interested in the research and in the furniture design since 1989.

She studies in depth and tries out the carving techniques of the materials she works with (wood, iron, ceramic, stone, glass ….) directly in craft shops, in order to arrive at the concreteness of her design works meant both in a traditional way and in an experimental one. Furniture and objects are characterized by the union of design and art (painting, sculpture) giving life to real totems that recall some feelings which are recognizable both in single items and in those easy to reproduce..

A sole style where ethnic groups, symbolism, naturalness and historical avant-garde meet and are reinterpreted according to a new criterion of modernity, where it is still possible to discover and to experiment new areas of creativity.
